Buying Corruption - New System | Game news [01]


Coming soon, Blizzard has made it much easier to acquire Corruption by introducing Preserved Contaminants. Preserved Contaminants can be bought from MOTHER for varying amounts of Echoes of Ny'alotha depending on the corruption and can be used on any non-cleansed piece of gear.


New Echoes of Ny'alotha Values


Echoes of Ny'alotha will be updated when the Corruption vendor goes live and can obtained by completing most ordinary Visions of N'Zoth activities. This currency is soulbound, meaning that you'll need to play in order to collect this currency. These values are 5 times the previous values.


Earning Echoes of Ny'alotha will be unlocked whenever any character on your account has completed the Legendary Cloak questline.

How to Buy Corruptions


Corruption Vendor


MOTHER will sell a random selection of Preserved Contaminants. Preserved Contaminants will contain a Corruption that can be applied to anynon-cleansedpiece of gear, similar to an Enchant.


MOTHER's stock of Preserved Contaminants will change twice a week, cycling through all available Corruption effects.


Preserved Contaminants Costs


Preserved Contaminants will cost varying amounts of Echoes of Ny'alotha depending on the type of Corruption you are buying. We don't have the full list of costs yet, but here's what we know so far.
